What Taiwanese authority handles company registrations?
The competent authority that handles business registrations is the local administration in the area in which the business will perform its activities. As a general rule, these local authorities are subordinated to the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
For business registration in Taiwan, you will submit the documents to:
- The Administration of Commerce, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, for foreign companies and companies from Mainland China, and for domestic companies with a paid-in capital of more than NT$500 million;
